Monthly Favorites.. November 2017

November. I cannot believe how fast this month has come and gone, it doesn't seem possible that it's time for December! As each month goes, as each season goes and each year goes; you tend to notice that you gravitate towards more things than others. And these are the things I've been gravitating towards the last month!

Storybook Cosmetics- Wizardry and Witchcraft palette: As a fan of Harry Potter and of make-up, I was so excited when this palette came out! This palette was a birthday gift from my sister (she clearly knows me incredibly well) and I've been reaching for it almost everyday since June. Jinx, a metallic silvery neutral, was my go-to all Summer long. This Fall? I've been going with Sorcerer and Potions, gorgeous metallic garnet and emerald shades.
Elizabeth and James- Nirvana  Amethyst: Okay. So, truth be told, my 7 year old self got very excited when Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen came out with perfumes for their line Elizabeth and James. I fell in love with Nirvana Black as soon as I smelled it for the first time, and was intrigued each time they added more fragrances. The one that interested me the most was Amethyst. The notes in this are tobacco, honeysuckle and cedar. I absolutely love this alone, and I love mixing it with what's next on my list.
The Body Shop- White Musk Smoky Rose: My first fragrance from The Body Shop and I absolutely love it! Perfect scent for cooler months and with bergamot, pink pepper and blackcurrant, how can you lose?
Breathe EZ Oil: This is something that has been in my life for the past few years, however as become a big part this fall. "Eucalyptus works as an excellent expectorant and helps cleanse your body of toxins and harmful microorganisms that can make you feel sick." I use this every single day, swab the inside of my nose to prevent me from getting sick, and not losing my voice (for the third year in a row, knock on wood!)
Tea Tree Oil: This stuff has so many uses! And I've discovered that I absolutely love the smell and can use it for anything and everything skin related. My current favorite use? Treating razor burn. I have pretty sensitive skin, and no matter what I do, razor burn still lurks around. I've switched my razors (the current one from Dollar Shave Club has been helping quite a bit), switching shaving cream and putting different treatments on after I shower. All have helped slightly, however no where near what tea tree oil has. It has got rid of any trace of razor burn that I always got, and just learned to live with it. It doesn't irritate the skin right after you shower and your pores are open from the steam. It also doesn't dry out your skin, which I anticipated from how frequently I use it.

Now on to fashion favorites!
I have been wearing these two things non-stop this Fall, especially this month. This vintage blazer by Pendleton that was my Nana's. It's a little bit big so it works perfect to layer over sweaters or over anything in general. I also love the pin/patch trend, these are from Femme De Bloom on Etsy. She is one of my favorite sellers, she is so talented! The spider pin is 70s vintage, too!
Sneakers have become my shoe of choice this past year. Who would have thought? Truly not me. These Vans have been on my radar for the past couple of years, and I've seen them styled lots of different ways on Pinterest, Instagram and from my favorite fashion bloggers.

Thanks for reading!!
