Feature Wall Friday
The man. The myth. The legend.
Inspiration number one from the wall is up! Nikki Sixx. For some, this name may mean nothing or it could be that guy from Mötley Crüe.
There are so many reasons I look up to him. To me, he's a fashion icon, talented photographer, trailblazing musician, amazing writer (music and otherwise) and a true inspiration for everything he has accomplished.
He is the reason I have quite a few things added to my wardrobe. My striped Hudson Jeans? A little nod to his stage looks circa Theatre of Pain. Ripped knees in jeans or faux leather pants? The Girls era, which fashion wise is probably my favorite. All the sunglasses he wore, touches of skulls and skeletons, and all black. Total rock n roll vibes.

One of my favorite pictures of him is framed up on my wall, with a guitar pick he tossed and my husband caught from a show on the All Bad Things Must Come To An End tour. A night I will always treasure!

Nikki Sixx is yes, a huge style inspiration for me, however that isn't all. He is also the author of my favorite autobiography (and one of my favorite books), The Heroin Diaries. It is an absolute MUST READ. You learn so incredibly much about him, the music world and the world of addiction. And the 10 year anniversary version of the book just got released, and I was lucky enough to get a signed copy of the book!
Thanks for reading!!
