How do you prepare for the holidays? No, I'm not talking about wrapping gifts and finishing up your shopping. I mean, how do you prepare yourself for the holidays?
This time of year when you're stressed, have a lot to do and have lots of parties to attend it's extra important that you take time for yourself and prepare for the holiday season.
For me, that means a few different things...
Cozying up with a holiday themed home magazine and a Christmasy scented candle. My two favorites? HGTV magazine and Clove candle by Bath and Body Works. Add a cup of tea, and a cozy blanket and it's my favorite way to de-stress after a day of work, especially in the colder months. As the days get closer to Christmas Eve and Christmas day, that changes a little bit more.
With just a few more days til Christmas day, these things are always a must. Cozy Christmas PJs are definitely number one. These are from last year, and are so soft! I can't tell you how many pairs of these I have owned over the years. They are so warm and soft, and stay that way no matter how much they are loved. Well loved, trust me. A couple pamper items are for sure important, too! A face mask and a manicure? Super important. This mask is great for hydration, we all need a little help in that department this time of year. Don't have time to do your nails or get them done? Try the glue-on nails by Kiss! I love these, they're so easy and look great, and my go-to this time of year. Last, but by no means least, is a Christmas story. My favorite since I was 8 is the Polar Express. The art and story is just pure magic.
Enjoy your holidays and remember to take time to treat yourself!!Thanks for reading!!
