Monthly Favorites.. December 2017
December 2017. My oh my, the month has zoomed by. Let alone the month, the entire year has flown by. And as another month has come and gone, there's more to add to the Monthly Favorites category!
Let start off with fashion! Because well, it's always my favorite.
Beanies: I have always been a fan of hats, and a few styles I'm partial to are berets, vintage styles and of course, beanies. They have been my favorite to wear in recent weeks as it's gotten more chilly. It is my day off go-to, and these two have been on rotation. The dark green one is from Calvin Klein via TJMaxx and the black one with faux fur is from a little boutique.
Glasses: These cat eye frames are new and old all in one. They have been my glasses for the last couple of years, until I broke a small piece of it, and to say the least, I was heartbroken. So my sister the handy optician ordered me a new pair of them! I was so excited when they came in! As soon as I put them on, they immediately felt exactly as they should, like home. These frames are from Zenni Optical online.
Fishnets: These have become my favorite thing to add to softer skirts and distressed jeans alike. They just add such a fun little twist to any look. These are Nicole Miller via TJMaxx.
Now on to beauty!
(Little more detail on the frames)
The Body Shop- Tea Tree Skin Clearing Face Wash: Wow. All I have to say is wow. I absolutely love tea tree oil in general, however this stuff is amazing. The past few months my skin has been problematic. However, since using this? It has gotten a lot better! And stayed better, too. It's been my every day cleanser for the past two months and couldn't recommend this enough. My skin is oily, yet also sensitive. It got rid of my breakouts while not drying it out.
Wet n Wild- Mega Glo in Royal Calyx and Botanic Dream: As you can see, I love these a whole lot. These highlighters are absolutely incredible! They give amazing pigment, and remind me of the gorgeous shades you will find in the Anastasia Beverly Hills Moon Child palette. As soon as I saw these two shades at Rite Aid, I had to snag them. I already had one in my collection and loved the pay off, although that one is a little dark for a fair girl like myself. These two? Perfect for my fellow pale girls. The pink one has been my every day highlight with Benefit's Dandelion blush on my cheeks while I love the purple one in my inner corner for simple every day eye looks. For a few dollars a piece, you can't go wrong!
