New in.. Beauty Review!
Beauty routines. Do you like to stick to one? Or do like to experiment and try lots of different products? I love to try a few products here and there, or I did until a few months ago. Now I'm loving to pick up a few things when I see them, and experiment and play. Especially ones I've seen so many people rave about. And on top of it, when your skin isn't doing the greatest and kind of bored with your current foundation, it's fun to play! Now let's get started!
Benefit's They're Real Mascara: This little treat came in December's Ipsy bag. I was very excited to try it since everyone is constantly talking about it! I must say, it's pretty good, however it doesn't top my 3 holy grail mascaras. Those mascaras are: CoverGirl's Lash Blast, Revlon's Grow Luscious and bareMinerals' Flawless Definition Volumizing. I do however absolutely love it layered with CoverGirl's Lash Blast. I love the ball at the end of the wand, it's perfect for bottom lashes.
Sephora Collection Waterproof Contour Eye Pencil 12 hour wear in Purple Stilettos: Okay, not going to lie, I couldn't resist the name. I know that's the entire point of marketing teams and I'm a sucker for it. Anyhow! This has a great formula and glides perfectly, no dragging and it has full pigment. It does have great lasting power, not sure quite 12 hours. Although I do want to experiment a little more with it to see if I try something else to have it last longer. They had so many colors in this formula, and the ones I swatched, all had great gliding formula and killer pigment.
Sephora Collection Bronzer Powder in Fiji: I have been enjoying bronzer quite a bit since I've been sick this past almost two weeks, and even more pale than usual. I have one that has a shimmer to it, but not a matte formula with a cool undertone. As soon as I found this, I fell in love and I absolutely love everything about it!
Sephora Collection Make No Mistake Foundation and Concealer stick in 01 Driftwood: I absolutely love this!!! I haven't used a stick foundation like this in years. The color match is great and blends excellent with a beauty blender. Whenever I put it on, I keep expecting it to drag like the ones I used when I first started using make-up, however I keep being pleasantly surprised!
The Body Shop's Camomile Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover: I had seen Zoe Sugg talk about one of the items from this line a few years back, and was very interested to learn more about it. Then I was at The Body Shop's store and the salesperson was telling me about it. So I pondered, and finally tried it when I did my Black Friday order. It has a soft scent and is very sensitive for the eyes and it does take the some eye make-up off, just not all of it. I like to wear quite a bit of eyeliner and mascara, it just takes some of it off, just not everything; unlike Garnier's Micellar water. It does do a great job for just mascara days! Just keep it in mind if you're looking for a heavy eye make-up remover.
