What I'm Loving | January 2019

Viktor & Rolf.

I have always been incredibly fascinated by what is shown during fashion week in Paris, and this year was no exception. I fell madly in love with the entire show from Viktor & Rolf. This over-the-top white dress is my absolute favorite, however there are definitely some close runner-ups! Specifically this lavender number.

Orange. And I'm not talking the fruit.
Steve Madden - Btinaa Orange

I have always been a blue girl. Any cool tone colors, I've always loved. The warm tone colors though? Not really my cup of tea. The past few weeks I've noticed that I've been really drawn to orange. I only have a handful of items that are orange, but that is definitely starting to change!
Orange is associated with meanings of joy, warmth, heat, sunshine, enthusiasm, creativity, success, encouragement, change, determination, health, stimulation, happiness, fun, enjoyment, balance, sexuality, freedom, expression and fascination.
The pumpkin-y shade that I love reminds me of Fall time and Hermes boxes. So what's not to love? Lately, I have been adding orange shades back into my make-up routine with A-Go-Go by Kat Von D Beauty and Double Entendre palette. Totally falling for Baddie by Kylie Cosmetics,  this orange liner from ColourPop and the Steve Madden bag above. Also totally digging the transparent holder, giving me major late 90s- early 00's vibes.

Pinkie rings.

It is no secret that I am major lover of rings. My motto is more rings, the better. I just really like the look of a bunch of rings layered and stacked, plus they can elevate a casual outfit instantly. I absolutely love thumb rings and index finger rings. Always have, and always will. But pinkie rings? I've always had a weird relationship with them. But now? I dig them.
The inspiration? Jerry Lewis and The Great Frog.

The current one I've been eyeing? This beauty of a spade from The Great Frog. It's very sleek and simple, and is a shape that I've always liked. When I was a kid playing go fish with a deck of cards, the spade was always my favorite. The ace of spades more specifically, and little did I know then it was an incredible song! This will be my next purchase to save for.

Thanks for reading!!
