The Crew

Grab a cup of coffee, tea, or cozy beverage of your choice and get ready for a chatty lil post! And hooray for the weather being cool enough for cozy drinks in cute mugs to be an option. Before we go down the rabbit hole of me professing my love for the autumnal months, let's get on with the show!

I'm sure like many others out there I have become hooked on The Home Edit on Netflix. I loved their account before and saw so many different projects they did on Instagram and I've gotta tell you. The amount of joy it brings me is pretty darn high. Finding organization that is functional, practical, and aesthetically pleasing? That would be called the jackpot. The color-coding, the storage solutions, the labels, creating a space the person to grow into.. I mean, I could just go on and on with the amount of happiness this show brings. And, if you haven't started watching it yet.. Like, why?

It is without a doubt my dream show. For as long as I can remember I've always really enjoyed it, I used to use my free time in class in fifth grade to organize the bookshelf or if I was sent to my room I'd re-fold my drawers. Which looking back at those ages, seven and eleven, that's probably not typical behavior.. But for me, it's normal. And for there to be a show with people that understand it? It's pretty incredible.

With watching the episodes it has wholeheartedly inspired me to re-organize and de-clutter certain spots in my house. Nothing was too out of order, so the process went pretty quickly! There is nothing quite like the feeling after a de-clutter sesh and you look at everything put away neatly and it all looks happy. Happy shelves are totally a thing. With some areas I tend to stick to certain systems, like color-coding my shoes or organizing my band tees by the group, not the color; can you imagine the sea of black tees? But with other areas, specifically my kitchen or my bedroom, I'm always on the hunt for a new system to test out and try.

I have lived in my house for just over four years (whoa) and I've gone through I don't even know how many different systems! For some of you, I'm sure I sound like a whackado and then the other part of you totally gets it. It's cool to see the different stages of homes, celebrities just moving into a place, or a family in their forever home. It's brought up some different thoughts.. aside from immense joy, it made me remember the moving process and implementing my own system throughout my very own house. And then, the current reorganizing process and how that would assist in a move down the road if I so chose. I never saw that happening, but I've learned never say never. Because if you resist it, you're attracting that big time

When I moved I'm incredibly grateful that there wasn't a set date, I could move at my own pace and do it slowly. Which in theory sounds ideal, right? But goodness me, it took a hot second. Certain pieces of furniture or bigger items took months to get set up and didn't feel like it was set for a while. And while that isn't a big deal for some.. It drove me crazy. I'm a one and done kinda girl, I like to have everything set in one go. Efficiency is my jam. I'm also a hella proud East coast girl, and it makes me really happy when certain things started here. Probably why I've always had a love for Aerosmith, Louisa May Alcott's Little Women, and now, The Fresh Start- The Moving Crew (Crew and Crue, we know that's a match made in heaven for me). The Moving Crew has a specialty in long-distance, out-of-state moves, and local moves! They're a tight-knit crew that is dedicated to building relationships and trust with their clients from us in New England on the East coast and well beyond that.

Pretty cool, right?

And all those pain in the butt furniture pieces that aren't exactly the most fun to move? Small moves or moving across the country, they've got you completely covered. They have over twenty years of experience and with that, you get one-stop services from listing to relocation, and total care of your furniture. Bedroom sets, mattresses bookshelves, these furniture movers in Worcester, MA are your Crew!

I mean, as far as I'm concerned everyone should be this happy while they're organizing, moving, or both! Thank goodness for people similar to me (Clea and Joanna are Queens in my book) and The Fresh Start- Moving Crew! It's important to find those people that benefit your life and have you work smarter and not harder to accomplish whatever it is in your life. From finding that white collarless shirt from Fred Segal (ten points if you get the reference) or packing up and moving to LA. Can you imagine what an adventure that would be? Ahh to daydream! But like I said, never say never...
